She was predeceased by : her parents, Vera Woods Delvaille and Albert Soublet; her husband Huey Jacob Young; her siblings, George Delvaille and Joyce Delvaille Slaughter; her nephew Charles Delvaille Jr.; and her sister Vera "Cookie" Delvaille Williams.
She is survived by : her children, Schronda Bostic (Bernard) of Ansonia, Angela Young-Klanko of California and Huey Young (Stephanie) of Prospect; her grandchildren, Bernard Bostic Jr. (Stephanie), Jaden Young and Chase Young; and her brother Charles Delvaille of Middletown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jenkins-King & Malerba Funeral Home (12 Franklin St, Ansonia, CT 06401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The American Cancer Society.
