It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas M. Cloherty (Hartford, Connecticut), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 2, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Nora Welby and Martin Cloherty. He is survived by : his brother Charles Cloherty; his wife Susan Harrison; his siblings, Rev. Francis J. Cloherty of John Cloherty and Margaret Hughes; his children, Keri (Kedar Deshpande) and Michael (Alexis Papageorge); his grandchildren, Jack, Lily, Sophie Cloherty, Garrett and Kaitlin Deshpande; and also, Vera Borowik, Beth Small (Dennis), Krystyn (David Eggleton), Mark Zabawa, Kate, Lauren Small, Michael, Kelsey, Ally, Sydnee Eggleton and Teddy Zabawa. He is also survived by his siblings, he leaves many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St John's Episcopal Church (679 Farmington Ave, Hartford, CT 06119). A burial will be held on Monday, January 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery (1 Connery Ave, Buzzards Bay, MA 02542).
