He was predeceased by : his parents, Paolo Burgio and Giuseppina Burgio (Oliva); his siblings, Carmela Riggio and Corrado Burgio; and his siblings-in-law, Margaret Burgio, Rosa LaRosa (Angelo) and Angelo Pirruccio.
He is survived by : his wife Maria Burgio (Pirruccio); his daughters, Josephine Golino (Salvatore) of New Britain, Nella Fragione (Salvatore) of Melbourne and Linda Trigilio (Gino) of Kensington; and his siblings, Nello Burgio (Yoli) of Italy, Salvatore Burgio of Bristol and Connie Calafiore (Pasquale) of Farmington. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home (444 Farmington Ave, New Britain, CT 06053). A mass of christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Ann (95 North St, New Britain, CT 06051).
