We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2024, at the age of 96, Nancy R. LaPorta of Waterbury, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Carmello Mimmo and Mary Mimmo (Datelle); her former life partner Frank La Porta; her siblings, Genevieve Roraback, Steven Guerrera (Tweege) and Marie Crosby; her grandson Frank DiCocco; her son-in-law Jody Baker; and her close friend Mary Izzi.
She is survived by : her husband LaPorta Builders; her daughters, Kathleen DiCocco (Lou) and Marilyn Baker; her grandchildren, Nicole DiCocco and Adam Baker (Nichole); her great grandchild Croy Jody; and also Debra.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 8th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Chase Parkway Memorial (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A mass of christian burial will be held on Monday, January 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (785 Highland Ave, Waterbury, CT 06708). An entombment will be held on Monday, January 8th 2024 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (2324 E Main St, Waterbury, CT 06705).
