We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Irene B. Garagliano of Mystic, Connecticut, born in Montville, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, William Babcock and Lorene Favro Babcock; her husband John J. Garagliano; and her siblings, Gloria Cornell and William Babcock.
She is survived by : her children, John Garagliano and Donna Upchurch; her grandchildren, Michelle Murray, Jennifer Smuts, Dawn Henneous, Joseph O'Keefe and Samantha Garagliano; and her great grandchildren, Riley Murray, Katie Murray, Jack Murray, Caroline Smuts and Brendan Henneous.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Byles-Groton Memorial (310 Thames St, Groton, CT 06340). A mass of christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church (69 Groton Long Point Rd, Groton, CT 06340).
Donations may be made in Irene's memory to St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church.
