We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2024, at the age of 82, Florence A. Sammataro of Gales Ferry, Connecticut, born in Troy, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Stanley Glogowski and Florence Glogowski (Cazasta); her husband Robert; and her sister Marilyn Propst. She is survived by : her children, Stephen (Ann Marie) of Madison, CT, Jeffrey (Theresa) of Waterford, CT, Michael (Dorsey) of Atlanta, GA and Kathleen McMahon (Sean) of Duxbury, MA; and her brothers, Stanley, Paul and Peter Glogowski. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Byles-Groton Memorial (310 Thames St, Groton, CT 06340). A mass of christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church (1650 CT-12, Gales Ferry, CT 06335).
