He was predeceased by : his son Timothy Boynewicz; his mother Harriet Mrozinska; and his siblings, Phyllis, Alexander, Lillian, Charlotte, Frank and Peter.
He is survived by : his wife Barbara Boynewicz; and his children, John Boynewicz (Ruth) of Virginia Beach and Katherine Boynewicz Letellier (Joseph). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mystic Funeral Home (51 Williams Ave, Mystic, CT 06355). A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church (69 Groton Long Point Rd, Groton, CT 06340).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huntington's Disease Society of America (hdsa.org), the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation (npcf.us) or Grampy's Charity (grampys.org).
