He was predeceased by : his parents, Katherine Nerka Szwec and Bridgeport. He is survived by : his wife Marie A. Spinelli Szwec of Vincent's Medical Center; his sons, Raymond Szwec, Jr. (Darcie) and Joseph Szwec (Diana Almada); his half-brother Basil Sahajdak; his grandchildren, Gillian Smithers (Cooper) and William Szwec; and his great grandchild Wesley Raymond Smithers.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 10th 2024 at 9:30 AM and at 11:00 AM. A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 10th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the St. Michael Cemetery (2205 Stratford Ave, Stratford, CT 06615).
