It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Tucker Sheldon of Wallingford, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Tucker and Alice Tucker (Hubbell); and her husband Laurence Sheldon. She is survived by : her daughter Caroline Greene (James); her grandchildren, Anna Grace Carbutti of Wallingford, Connecticut, Andrew Carbutti IV (Rebecca Hood) of Wallingford, Connecticut and Christopher Carbutti of Wallingford, Connecticut; her nieces, Kimberly Porter (William), Karen Schneider (Howard) and Kathryn Birecki (Andrew); and her nephew David Ahearn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wallingford Funeral Home (809 N Main Street Ext, Wallingford, CT 06492). A mass of christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Resurrection (115 Pond Hill Rd, Wallingford, CT 06492). A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 16th 2024 at the Calvary Cemetery (2423 E Main St, Waterbury, CT 06705).
