With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest B. Lewis Jr. of Preston, Connecticut, born in Norwich, Connecticut, who passed away on January 3, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest B Lewis Sr. and Lydia Caisse Lewis of Taftville; and his nephew Joshua Jakubowski. He is survived by : his wife Barbara J White Lewis; his daughter Crystal Lewis of Preston; his sister Gloria Bushnell (Gary) of Griswold; his aunts, Betty Schmidt of Norwich and Irene Toscano of Norwich; and his nieces and nephews, Jobie Bushnell (Tammi), Gary Bushnell, Tommy Bushnell, Shannon Charles (Harry), Holly (Ernest Heimsath) and Cindy (Derek Foy).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Guillot Funeral Home, Inc. (21 N 2nd Ave, Taftville, CT 06380). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (156 Providence St, Taftville, CT 06380). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (260 Harland Rd, Norwich, CT 06360).
