He was predeceased by : his parents, Hildur F. Young (Anderson) and Adolf J. Young of Cromwell; and his brother Milton S. Young (Miriam) of West Hartford, CT.. He is survived by : his wife Rosa Anne Young (Giuffrida); his sons, Jeffrey Young (Tracy) of Portland, CT, Karl Young (Evamarie) and Stephen Young (Susan) of Scituate, MA; his grandchildren, Dr. Whitney Young (Todd Jones), Spencer Young (Patrick La Patina), Hayden Young (Stephanie), Maggie Young, Isabel Young and Caroline Young; his great grandchild Myla Mary Young; and his nieces, Amanda Hickman and Sally D'Amato.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cromwell Funeral Home (506 Main St, Cromwell, CT 06416). A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Indian Hill Cemetery (383 Washington St, Middletown, CT 06457).
