He is survived by : his wife Antonia Gomes (Rodrigues); his children, Ilda Mendes (Manuel), Helena DePina of Norwich, Ildo Gomes of Norwich, Domingos Gomes of Norwich, Julio Gomes (Melanie) of Danielson, CT and Tony Gomes of Norwich; and his siblings, Maria Montrond of Brockton, MA and Antero Gomes of Quincy, MA.. He is also survived by Dad but even more loved being a Grandfather and Great-Grandfather to his ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Church & Allen Funeral Services (136 Sachem St, Norwich, CT 06360). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Church & Allen Funeral Service (136 Sachem St, Norwich, CT 06360). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM and at 10:30 AM.
