He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter H. Steuernagel, Sr. and Dorthea Steuernagel (Schnoor); his sister Ethel Tenson (Steuernagel); and his step-siblings, E. Paul Smith, Audrey DiPinto (Smith) and Beverly Sewell (Smith).
He is survived by : his wife Carol Steuernagel (Dohan); his sons, Chris Steuernagel of Tampa, FL and Craig Steuernagel (Mary Ann) of Cromwell; and his grandsons, Matthew Steuernagel (Amanda Potts) of Cromwell and Cameron Steuernagel of Tampa, FL.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Biega's Funeral Home (3 Silver St, Middletown, CT 06457). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (10 Elm St, Middletown, CT 06457).
