He was predeceased by : his spouse Cele Sargeant (Holton) of Mary's Hospital; his parents, Elliott Sargeant and Helen Sargeant (McDermott); his son Sean Sargeant; and his sister Carolyn Wilcox.
He is survived by : his sons, Fred "Ricky" Sargeant (Shannon), Howard Sargeant (Laurie) and Christopher Sargeant (Kelli); and his grandchildren, Skylar, Matthew, Hannah, Madison and Bodie Sargeant.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home (82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck, CT 06770). A mass of christian burial will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (318 Church St, Naugatuck, CT 06770). A burial will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 at the St. James Cemetery.
