He was predeceased by : his brother Henry Thomas; and his brothers-in-law, Jacques Charbonneau and Stephen Grimley. He is survived by : his wife Kathy (Grimley); his daughter Vicki Thomas; his grandchildren, Alexis Burleigh of Vernon and Zachary Burleigh of Vernon; his siblings, Martha Charbonneau of St. Albans, VT, Shirley McElroy (Terrance) of Vernon, Leonard Thomas (Debi) of Ellington and Diane Thomas (Bruce Newman) of South Windsor; his sister-in-law Jane Thomas of Somers; and his nephew Daniel McElroy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ladd Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home (551 Talcottville Rd, Vernon, CT 06066). A mass of christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Church (25 St Bernard's Terrace, Vernon, CT 06066). The military honors will be held on Saturday, January 20th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Bernard Cemetery.
