He was predeceased by : his parents, Francis P. Martino and Antoinette Mattazaro Martino; his siblings, Dorothy Martino (Cheryl Vitelli) and Kenneth; his siblings-in-law, Ernie and Jayne; his niece Deb; and his nephew Edward.
He is survived by : his wife Patricia Sattan Martino; his children, Francis Martino, Edward Martino, Jr. (Kellie), MaryEllen Perrotti (Gene) and Tricia Lasto (Lee); his grandchild Mollee Lasto; his daughters, MaryKate Martino, Maggie Lasto, Megan Lasto and EmilyRose Martino; and his sister Frances Pagliaro. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Celentano Funeral Home (424 Elm St, New Haven, CT 06511). A procession will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the Funeral Will Leave Celentano Funeral Home (424 Elm St, New Haven, CT 06511). A mass of christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Church (75 Center Rd, Woodbridge, CT 06525). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2024 at the East Side Cemetery (157 Pease Rd, Woodbridge, CT 06525).
He was overwhelmed to be a 2017 recipient of the Notre Dame Knights of Honor which recognizes individuals who live by the ideals of the Notre Dame Code and have made a contribution to the Notre Dame school community.
