It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita B. LaBelle of Killingly, Connecticut, born in Danielson, Connecticut, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Aldei Boulais and Emma Boulais (Audette). She is survived by : her children, Paulette Harwood (Craig) of Canterbury, Michelle Weiss (William) of Dayville, David (Nikki Simpson) of Derby, VT, Janice Thurlow (Keith) of Killingly, Richard II (Phyllis) of Willington and Diane Bordeleau (Matt Busey) of Lebanon. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 (+) great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home (33 Reynolds St, Danielson, CT 06239). A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. James Church (12 Franklin St, Danielson, CT 06239).
