She was predeceased by : her parents, Teofil Emielita and Sofia Drauszewska Emielita; and her siblings, Mary Perno Emielita, Leo Emielita, Jennie Emielita Chiappa, Charlotte Emielita, Elizabeth "Lilly" Emielita, Edward "Eddie" Emielita, Theodore "Teddy" Emielita, Chester Emielita, Rudolph Emielta and Mathew "Mikey" Emielita.
She is survived by : her children, Kathleen Reed Bia, Marc Reed (Robin Reed), Lisa Reed Tencza, Darrin Reed, Holly Reed French and Dale Reed; her grandchildren, Austin French, Jessica French, Rachael Reed, Nicholas Reed, Morgan Reed Washburn, Ashley Reed, Stanley Tencza, Spencer Tencza, Sonny Reed, Justin Reed and Delaney Reed; and also Ann Reed. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the East Haven Memorial Funeral Home (425 Main St, East Haven, CT 06512). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Mary's Church (731 Main St, Branford, CT 06405). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Agnes Cemetery.
