With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dana Danute Kuras of Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on January 6, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Paul Kuras; her parents, Vincas Augustaitis and Ona Augustaitis (Damskis); and her brother Kestutis Augustaitis. She is survived by : her close friends, Richard, Sheila Collette of Waterbury, Erina and Lenis Balsys of Naugatuck; and her friend Joan Klem of Waterbury. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Chase Parkway Memorial (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A mass of christian burial will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (46 Congress Ave, Waterbury, CT 06708). A burial will be held on Friday, January 12th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lithuanian Cemetery (102 Plank Rd, Waterbury, CT 06705).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Dana's name to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
