She is survived by : her children, Nancy Gail James, Greg Wesley Sims, Kimberly Rosanne Brooks (Carlice) and Derrick S. Sims, Sr. (Nancy); her step-son Raymond L. Sims, Jr.; her grandchildren, Patrice Sims, Maurice Sims, Barry James, Naomi James, Alexandra Sims, Caitlyn Sims, Carlice Brooks, Christianna Brooks, Ellecia Sims, Brianna Sims and Derrick S. Sims, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Jordan Oliver, Londyn Oliver, Adrianna Janae Brooks, Calvin DaSilva James and Chloe Wilson. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church (425 Newhall St, Hamden, CT 06517). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
