We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2024, at the age of 90, Maria R. Reverendo of South Windsor, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Antonio DaSilva and Gloria DaSilva; and her husband Jose E. Reverendo. She is survived by : her sons, Joe Reverendo, Jr. (Mary) of Glastonbury and Carlos A. Reverendo (Fernando Leon) of Somerville, MA; her grandchildren, Ashley Benner (Eric) of Storrs, Nickolas Reverendo (Joseph Raver) of Wethersfield and Quinn Reverendo (Bill Friederich) of Holmes, PA; her great grandchildren, Weston and Violet; her brothers, John DaSilva of Chicopee, MA and Alex DaSilva of Westerly, RI; her brother-in-law Antonio Reverendo of Newark, NJ; and her friends, Judy Melichar, Joan and Garvin Boudle. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 18th 2024 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A mass of christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (50 Kane St, Hartford, CT 06106).
