We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2024, at the age of 94, Lillian C. Smith of New Britain, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Dr. Vincent Smith, Jr.; her sister Pauline Goodwin; her brother-in-law Dr. John Goodwin; and her brother Thomas Coady, Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Robin Schmidt (Jerome) of Somers, NY, Michael Smith (Audrey) of Farmington, Barbara Harrison (Joseph Harrison) of Kensington and Sarah Smith-Griffen of Unionville; her grandchildren, Dr. Allison Schmidt, David Schmidt, Molly, Joseph, Katherine Harrison and Augustus Griffen; her great grandchild Clementine Harrison; and her sister-in-law Wanda Coady.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home (110 Franklin Square, New Britain, CT 06051). A mass of christian burial will be held on Friday, January 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (1755 Stanley St, New Britain, CT 06053). An entombment will be held on Friday, January 19th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Cemetery (1141 Stanley St, New Britain, CT 06051).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospital of Central Connecticut or St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
