It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerard James Lawrence MD (Essex, Connecticut), born in New York, New York, who passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Anne Lawrence and John Lawrence. He is survived by : his wife Fleur; and his children, Christopher (Eileen) of Killingworth, Kirsten (Sander) of Greenwich, Melissa (Marc) of Barcelona and James (Rebecca) of Charleston. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and a large extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robinson Wright & Weymer Funeral Home (34 Main St, Centerbrook, CT 06409). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 17th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme Lym (4 Lyme St, Old Lyme, CT 06371).
