She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvaro Ramirez and Paula Garcia; her husband Ruben Valentin; her siblings, Antonio Ramirez, Arcadia Ramirez, Damian Ramirez, Jacinto Ramirez, Nilda Echevarri and Miguel A. Ramirez; and her son Ruben Valentin Jr..
She is survived by: her sister Esther Caban; her nieces and nephews, Oswaldo Valentín (Wilma) and Jose A. Valentin (Rosa Rosado); and her grandchildren, Sandy Valentín, Jeana Crespo, Ruben E. Valentín, Jessica Quinones, Valerie Munoz, Jose A. Valentín Jr. and Natasha Reeves. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeraria Luz (426 E Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06608). Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the St. Michael's Cemetery (2205 Stratford Ave, Stratford, CT 06615).
