It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gus J. Procopion of Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his grandfather Gus J. Procopion (Waterbury); his parents, John Procopion and Mary Procopion (Kowcheris); and his brothers, Sam and Louis Procopion.
He is survived by : his wife Elaine Procopion (Coppeto) of Waterbury; his children, Valerie Yanni (Fadi) of Greenwich and John Procopion (Daphne) of Darien; and his grandchildren, Theodore Yanni, Chloe and Alexis Procopion.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chase Parkway Memorial (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 19th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A mass of christian burial will be held on Friday, January 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (937 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A burial will be held on Friday, January 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (2324 E Main St, Waterbury, CT 06705).
