It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mardelle Ruffin of Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mardelle Ruffin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Cecil Wade and Marjorie Wade (Dunham); her siblings, Brinkley Wade, Ronald Wade, Delmon Wade, Theodore Wade, Claudette Wade Delgado, Stephanie Wade Hunter and Ann Wade Parks; and her great grandchild Javari Zion Williams.
She is survived by : her husband John Ruffin; her daughters, Claudette Eaton (Carlton) of Snellville, GA, Kimberly Thomas (Christopher) of Concord, NC and Kellie Williams (Andre) of Waterbury, CT; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler, Chantel Eaton, Jared, Brianah Young, Brandon, CJ Thomas, DeAndre, Adrien and Andrew Williams. She is also survived by relatives and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Ame Zion Church (82-100 Pearl St, Waterbury, CT 06704). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 17th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the New Pine Grove Cemetery (850 Meriden Rd, Waterbury, CT 06705).
