He was predeceased by : his parents, Volney Bradford Blodgett and Lillian Densis Blodgett (Cushman); and his brother Volney Blodgett. He is survived by : his wife Anne Blodgett of Scotland, CT; his daughters, Gwendolyn Blodgett (Russ Cluett) and Grace Blodgett of Scotland, CT; and his siblings, Gene, Carol, Wayne (Christy), Rose Blodgett Mihalik (George), Judy Blodgett Rush (Iain), Ted Blodgett of Puerto Rico and Valerie Broe (Shawn). He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Potter Funeral Home (456 Jackson St, Willimantic, CT 06226). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Christian Fellowship Church (140 Pudding Hill Rd, Hampton, CT 06247). A burial will be held on Thursday, January 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Scotland Cemetery.
