He was predeceased by : his father Joseph T. Gumkowski; and his step-son Joseph Malone. He is survived by : his wife Linda Gumkowski (Watanabe); his mother Evelyn Gumkowski (Stanek); his step-daughter Lisa Taylor (Mark) of East Haddam; his siblings, John Gumkowski (Laurie) of East Haddam and Mary Crowell (Bruce) of Woodstock; his grandchildren, Emma Taylor and Adam Taylor; his nieces, Jennifer Levesque and Julie Gumkowski; and his nephew Gray Storm Crowell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the South Congregational Church (9 Pleasant St, Middletown, CT 06457). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. He retired early in 2020 due to COVID risks.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
