We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Charles W. Stead of Shelton, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Stead and Ella Nora Stead (Aiken); and his sister Gertrude Vitale (Nicholas). He is survived by : his wife Eunice Stead (Huggins); his grandchildren, Colleen Wellington-Caban (Jon), Mary Kate Schumacher (Stephen), Sean Wellington (Jenna), John Costa, III, Heather Costa, Molly Stead and Hunter Stead; and his great grandchildren, Quinn and Rowan Schumacher.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home (390 River Rd, Shelton, CT 06484). A procession will be held on Wednesday, January 24th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Will Leave the Funeral Home. A mass of christian burial will be held on Wednesday, January 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (50 Fairmont Pl, Shelton, CT 06484).
