With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter J. Turechek of Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on January 19, 2024 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peter J. Turechek to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his wife Frances Ann Wondell Turechek; his parents, John Turechek and Antoinette Turechek (Speta); and his son Kenneth C. Turechek. He is survived by : his sons, David P. Turechek (Sherry) of Shelton and Paul S. Turechek of Stratford; his grandchildren, Luke J. Turechek, Bonnie M. Turechek (Landon Cunningham), Zachary D. Turechek, Paul S. Turechek Jr. (Nicole), Cyrilla L. Turechek, Tanya M. Turechek and Holly Waligora (Eric); his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Bryannah, Christopher, Gunner, Grace, Blake, Jack, Hope and Brook; and his great great grandchild Seth Jasper (SJ). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home (419 White Plains Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611). A mass of christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Church (1255 E Main St, Bridgeport, CT 06608). A burial will be held on Thursday, January 25th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery (885 Boston Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06610).
