He is survived by : his children, Asia "Greek" Thompson, Desiree Whitfield, Otis "Doc" Prince (Katisha) of Greensboro and Shawn "Bundy" Waters; his siblings, John L. Marshall (Mary) of Montgomery, Lillie Mae Hoskins (Clarence) of Huntsville, Mary Marshall, Maurice Baskins, Jerry Baskins (Elaine), Sheila Maia (John) of Waterbury, CT, Elise Baskins of North Brunswick, Devoight "Pop" Baskins of Williamstown, Bonnie Eaton of New Britain, CT, Marvin Sanders (Sandra) of Oxford and Clifton Chapman (Jocelyn) of Wappingers Falls, NY; his aunts, Virginia Hancock, Mary Haynes, Elizabeth Chapman and Delores Mullins; and his close friends, Beth "Babe" Taylor, Joanne Reynolds and Sharon Roberts-Jones. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chase Parkway Memorial (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 26th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the New Pine Grove Cemetery (850 Meriden Rd, Waterbury, CT 06705).
