He is survived by : his siblings, Willie Highsmith, Jr. (Linda), Donnell Highsmith (Carlis), Linda Highsmith, Carol Highsmith, Barbara Lumpkin and David Highsmith (Gretchen); and his nieces and nephews, Zulema Highsmith, Nicholl Montgomery, Tamara Akanno (Museveni), Jason Lumpkin (Gia), Justin Montgomery, Alexandria Highsmith, Bethanie Highsmith, Marquies Highsmith and Maurice Highsmith.
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Curvin K. Council Funeral Home (128 Dwight St, New Haven, CT 06511). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
