It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ivory Dell Lewis of Middletown, Connecticut, born in Effingham, South Carolina, who passed away at the age of 76, on January 18, 2024. She was predeceased by : her husband Nate; her parents, Jaro Bartell and Addie Lou Bartell (Keith); and her siblings, Ella M. Hyman, John H. Bartell, Herman Bartell (Pal), Walter Bartell, James Floyd Bartell, Era M. Jenkins and Eugene Alexander Bartell.
She is survived by : her children, Nadine Bond, Gretha Lewis-Hardy and Nathan J. Lewis; her sons-in-law, Lorenzo Bond and James Hardy; and her grandchildren, Ashley Bond, Alexis Lewis, Kayla Patterson, Jalen Lewis, Asia Lewis and Elijah Cyr. She is also survived by her 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cross Street Ame Zion Church (440 West St, Middletown, CT 06457). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
