It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda J. Bayer of Bristol, Connecticut, born in Middlebury, Vermont, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, John R. Bromley and Violet Bromley (Kimball); and her sons, Brian and John Bayer. She is survived by : her husband Richard J. Salamon; her daughter Holly Bayer of Mohave Valley, AZ; her brothers, David (Mary Bromley) and Thomas (Rachel Bromley); her step-sons, Todd Salamon (Mara Madden) of New Jersey and Keith Salamon of Middletown; her grandchildren, James Ray IV, Jocelyn Stout (Nathan), Christina Polk, Ryan and Grace Salamon; her great grandchildren, Bryce, Blake and Serenity; and her pet Teddy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funk Funeral Home (35 Bellevue Ave, Bristol, CT 06010). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
