He was predeceased by: his parents, Icik Shapiro and Basia Altshuler Shapiro. He is survived by: his wife Nadia Azzaria Shapiro; his sons, Vladimir Shapiro (Gina) and Alexander Shapiro (Anna); his grandchildren, Natasha, Justin, Tatiana and Samuel Shapiro; and his cousins, Lonia, Zena Lewin, Sharon Lewin and Katherine Gollmin.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the North Haven Funeral Home (36 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
