It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Rinaldi of Newington, Connecticut, who passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph Rinaldi to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Rinaldi and Lucia Rinaldi (Guerrera); his grandson Gabriele Rinaldi; his sister Maria Corsi; his father-in-law Emilio Madia; and his brothers-in-law, Sal, Fernando and Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa Rinaldi (Madia); his sons, Angelo Rinaldi (Tammy Marie) of Stafford Springs and Carmine Rinaldi (Brittney) of Cheshire; his grandchildren, Layla Rinaldi and Gianna Rinaldi; his sisters, Jenny Mangiafico and Rose Gugliotti of Newington; his mother-in-law Caterina Madia of Torrington; and his siblings-in-law, Maria Garcea of Rochester, NY and Victor Madia (Charlotte) of Torrington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Peter Church (99 E Main St, Torrington, CT 06790).
