He was predeceased by: his parents, Earle Williams and Margaret Van Wagenen Williams. He is survived by: his wife Trudy; his children, Margaret Williams of Florida, Donna Boanno of Ansonia, Christine Pepe of North Carolina and Karl Williams of Ansonia; and his sister Mary Margaret Williams of Ansonia. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
