With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Louise Burk of West Simsbury, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 1, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley Girard Burk; her parents, Joseph Tedone and Grace Tedone; and her siblings, Marie, Cosmo, Jack, Salvador, Dominic and Joseph.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph G. Burk, Germaine L. Hosmer (Dave), Stanley G. Burk (Ginny) and JoAnn Cwikla (Walter); and her grandchildren, Alicia, Dawn, Noah, Bryan, Chris, Ashly, Nicole, Tyson, Tanner and Jason. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Church (265 Stratton Brook Rd, West Simsbury, CT 06092).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Simsbury Voluntary Ambulance Association in her memory.
