In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Frances had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Frances may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony M. "Sonny" Marchitto; her son Mark M. Marchitto; and her sister Peggy. She is survived by: her children, Claudia Sisson of West Haven, Gina Marchitto of West Haven and Carl V. Marchitto (Estelle) of Orange; her daughter-in-law Colleen Marchitto of West Hartford; and her sisters, Lucille Zemke of Hamden and Philomena Blakeslee of Orange. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Porto Funeral Home (830 Jones Hill Rd, West Haven, CT 06516). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Infant Church (450 Racebrook Rd, Orange, CT 06477).
