He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Popikas and Helen Sacalas Popikas; and his brother Charles Popikas. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Libby Popikas; his children, John Popikas (Heather Lucas), Joan Ajello Elliott of Beacon Falls and Lisa Ajello Delatorre of Florida; and his sister Arline Drugonis of Vermont. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home (12 Franklin St, Ansonia, CT 06401). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church.
