It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Walsh of Ridgefield, Connecticut, who passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon L. Walsh, Jr.; her parents, Raymond Oliver and Johanna Oliver (Corbet); her son-in-law Charles Hodges; and her siblings, Leanora Oliver, Marion Kirby, Raymond Oliver, James Oliver and Charles Oliver.
She is survived by: her family Joan; her brother John Paul Oliver; her cousin Marie Corbet Peterson; and her children, Kevin Walsh (Dina), Susan Bartolucci (Fred), Sharon Hodges, Karen Reale (Bruce), Michael Walsh (Patricia), Patrick Walsh (Kathleen) and Christopher Walsh (Elizabeth). She is also survived by grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (55 Catoonah St, Ridgefield, CT 06877).
