With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Theodore A. Spalding (North Haven, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 4, 2025 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Spalding and Ethel Gaunya Spalding; his son Theodore R. Spalding; and his siblings, Maryjane Andrulatis, Robert and Albert Spalding.
He is survived by: his wife Debra J. Borman Spalding; his children, David Gontarz (Karen Logue), Kimberly Gontarz, Kathleen Sparks (Arlon), Patricia Morrell (Dan), Robert Spalding and Krista Paez (Ricky); and his nieces, Karen Taylor, Christine Hinman, Donna Quartararo (Phil) and Sheila Johnson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the North Haven Funeral Home (36 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 1:15 PM. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (700 Middletown Ave, North Haven, CT 06473).
