Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his son John M. Kania Jr. (Caroline); his grandchildren, Olivia and Maxwell of South Windsor; his son Matthew Kania (Victoria) of East Windsor; his sister Nancy Kowalchik (Robert) of Frisco, TX; and his sibling's children, Amy Herzog (Scott) of Celine, TX and David Kowalchik (Melissa) of South Windsor.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home (419 Buckland Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location.
