As John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his son John M. Kania Jr. (Caroline); his grandchildren, Olivia and Maxwell of South Windsor; his son Matthew Kania (Victoria) of East Windsor; his sister Nancy Kowalchik (Robert) of Frisco, TX; and his sibling's children, Amy Herzog (Scott) of Celine, TX and David Kowalchik (Melissa) of South Windsor.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home (419 Buckland Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location.
