He was predeceased by: his parents, Damaso Rivera and Pedraza Rivera. He is survived by: his sisters, Rosa Portalatin (Gerardo A.) and Carmen I Rivera; his stepsons, Luis S. Oquendo and Jerry Oquendo; his niece Damaris Portalatin; Kai Arroyo. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home (444 Farmington Ave, New Britain, CT 06053). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
