With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Valeriano Resto of New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on September 5, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wenceslao Resto and Petra Santana; and his brothers, Martin and Julio. He is survived by: his wife Maria Resto (Isa); his sons, Israel (Joyce), Javiel (Hilda), Melvin (Marisol) and Alexi (Heather); his siblings, Santo, Juan, Victor and Ana; and his grandchildren, Emanuel, Adrian, Benjamin, Julian, Mariela, Christian, Evan, Daniel, Solimar and Anthony.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home (1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Paz Church (494 New Britain Ave, Hartford, CT 06106). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at the Mount St. Benedict Cemetery (1 Cottage Grove Rd, Bloomfield, CT 06002).
