She was predeceased by: her husband Donald E. Karpe. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth "Lisa" Hugel (Craig) of Yarmouth, ME, Brian S. Karpe (Beth) of Simsbury and Susan K. Cruise (Mark) of East Greenwich, RI.; her grandchildren, David Hugel (Zahra), Stephen Hugel (Hanna), Laura Colby (Elliott), Amanda, Marybeth Karpe, James Cruise (Michelle), Kenneth Cruise (Jordan), Matthew and Carolyn Cruise; her great grandchildren, Nora Hugel, Drevet Colby and Maxwell; and her sibling's children, Paula and Robert Karpe.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Matthew Lutheran Church (224 Lovely St, Avon, CT 06001).
