It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nicholas John Kupec of Waterford, Connecticut, born in Milford, Connecticut, who passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John Codeanne, Nicholas and Margaret Kupec; and his uncle Edward Degnan. He is survived by: his wife Kristy Kupec (Hunter); his parents, Carol Codeanne Teixeira (Michael) and Nicholas I. Kupec (Judy); his sister Lauren Kupec Lilien (Robert); his sibling's children, Harper Elizabeth, Robert Jack Lilien and Harry; his stepsister Alexis Teixeira (Phil); his grandmother Marilyn Codeanne; his aunts and uncles, Sharon Codeanne, Nancy Degnan, Ellen Whalen, Eileen Codeanne, John Codeanne and Carlos Candal; his cousins, Matthew Degnan, Emily, Ali, Ethan Candal, Lani, Colin Codeanne, Jennie Bourque (Andy) and Katie Whalen (Dave); his mother-in-law Debbie Wheeler; his sister-in-law Katie Hunter Brai (DJ); and his nephews, Hunter and Logan Brai.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the North Haven Funeral Home (36 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Therese Church (555 Middletown Ave, North Haven, CT 06473).
