The passing of Lois Turrell of Stonington, Connecticut leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 6, 2025 at the age of 93. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Litfin and Emma Bansleben Litfin; her siblings, Sonny and Ruth Schmidt; her husband Raymond Turrell, Jr.; and her son Robert Turrell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carrie Callahan of Bath, ME, EmmaLee Goddies (James Goddiess Jr.) of Stonington, CT and Allison Turrell (Lyman Hardy III) of Austin, TX; her grandchildren, William Turrell (Danielle), Rachelle Zito (Brian) and Bethany Goddiess (Andrew Glazzard); and her friend Edith Sherman of Milford, CT.. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Congregational Church of North Stonington (89 Main St, North Stonington, CT 06359).
