The memory of James Edward Butler of Branford, Connecticut, who passed away on September 6, 2025 at the age of 77, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Butler and Eleanor Butler (Conner); his wife Linda Butler (Alogna); and his brother Charles B. Butler. He is survived by: his sons, Jim Butler (Lisa) and Chris Butler; his grandchildren, Jacob, Caylee, Amelia and Sarah; his siblings, Mary E. Numa (Stewart) and John P. Butler (Lori); his sisters-in-law, Helen Butler and Leigh Alogna Duff (William); and his pets, Rocky and Finley.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the West Haven Funeral Home (662 Savin Ave, West Haven, CT 06516). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (731 Main St, Branford, CT 06405).
