He was predeceased by: his parents, Alipio Salgado and Ana Salgado (Alves); and his sister Maria (Jorge Sequiera). He is survived by: his wife Helena Salgado (Lopes); his son Luis Salgado of Prospect; and his siblings, Candido Salgado (Marina) of Waterford, Antonio Salgado of Waterbury, Matilde Amado (Ernesto) of Brazil, Teresa Teixeira (Albano) of Prospect and Vera Lucia Peres (Americo) of Portugal. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Chase Parkway Memorial (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (2071 Baldwin St, Waterbury, CT 06706).
